Decoding Digital Privacy
Training in Security and Technological Well-Being for Educators
Start the training now
Get ready to teach students to have a healthy relationship with technology in the digital-information age
The smart, safe use of technology helps educators and students in the teaching and learning process, and helps the school run more harmoniously.
Above all because of the pandemic — a situation that will likely take a long time to return to “normal” — children and teenagers are spending far more time on internet-connected devices, whether for fun or for study, and this greater exposure to the online environment carries a range of risks, including bullying, sexual harassment, grooming and many other threats.
Unfortunately, “safe and conscious use” is still missing from the pedagogical planning of most schools in the country.
This course prepares primary- and secondary-school teachers to equip students with the skills they need to stay safe online and keep a healthy relationship with digital life.
The course is free, online and interactive.
