PerifaImpacto’s cycle of advisory sessions in São Paulo went beyond training: it became a strategic process for strengthening leaders and developing initiatives in the peripheries.
Working from Individual Development Plans (PDIs), each leader received personalised support, designed to help them structure their projects better, organise their work and widen their impact.

What the advisory sessions did in practice
The advisory sessions helped turn ideas into concrete action. With this support, the leaders were able to:
- Structure their projects and ways of working more effectively
- Organise their financial and strategic planning
- Access calls for proposals and funding opportunities
- Strengthen their presence in networks and cultural spaces
It was this close support that allowed initiatives to move off the page and into the execution phase in their territories.
Direct results of the process
The numbers show the reach of the work:
- 80% of the leaders made progress in structuring their projects
- More than 10 initiatives entered an active phase
- 100% developed their strategic planning through the PDI
Participation in calls for proposals and the pursuit of financial sustainability also grew.
Far beyond technique
One of the greatest strengths of the advisory sessions was looking not only at the projects, but at the leaders themselves. By the end of the cycle, it was visible:
- More autonomy and self-confidence
- Greater clarity of positioning
- A more strategic and proactive stance
In the end, what the process reveals is a set of advances built little by little, with support, listening and experimentation. The leaders gradually organised their ideas better and found more workable ways to carry on with their projects.
These are not great turnarounds — they are consistent movements, which help sustain the initiatives and strengthen their trajectories. The advisory sessions come in as part of that path, giving more structure and clarity, without ever replacing the leading role of those who were already making things happen in their territories.structure and clarity, without replacing the leading role of those who were already making things happen in their territories.
