Raissa, Juliene and Nycoli, leaders of perifaimpacto 2025
March is a symbolic month for reflecting on the strength, the presence and the leading role of women in building fairer, more creative and more sustainable territories. At Perifa/Impacto, Casa Hacker’s development programme for peripheral leaders, this reflection happens not only in words but above all in practice: there are four professionals on the management team and fourteen women leaders.
From its very conception, PerifaImpacto is born of the recognition that women from the peripheries are protagonists of real solutions to social, cultural and economic challenges in their territories. They are leaders who organise collectives, mobilise communities, create cultural projects, develop socio-environmental initiatives and build support networks that directly affect the lives of hundreds of people.
Leaders who transform reality
Throughout the PerifaImpacto training journey, women occupy a central place among the participating leaders. They bring to the programme their experiences, their lived realities and their perspectives on the territories where they work, turning the training space into a powerful environment of exchange, collective learning and the building of solutions.
Each initiative led by these women carries stories of resistance, creativity and community care. They are projects that speak to education, culture, art, the local economy, social innovation and the strengthening of community networks.
More than participants in a programme, these women are agents of transformation, connecting the knowledge of the territory with new tools for management, communication, innovation and sustainability.

A team that reflects the values of the project
The commitment to equity and representation is also expressed in the very team that builds PerifaImpacto. The programme has women in management, coordination and facilitation roles, contributing to a way of running it that is sensitive to the social realities that run through the Brazilian peripheries.

This female presence on the team strengthens an environment of listening, collaboration and collective construction — fundamental elements for programmes that seek to develop leaders committed to real social impact.
